Eman Helal – die lachende Frau in der Mitte unseres Titelbildes – ist unsere neue Kollegin in Hamburg. Sie ist Fotografin und kommt aus \u00c4gypten. Vergangene Woche hat sie in Berlin eine ganz besondere Ausstellung mit Ihren Arbeiten pr\u00e4sentiert: Im Paternoster-Fahrstuhl an der Berlin-Brandenburgischen Akademie der Wissenschaften fuhren einen Abend lang ihre Portr\u00e4ts herauf und herunter. Vorgestellt wurden interessante Pers\u00f6nlichkeiten aus dem arabischen Teil von Berlin. Menschen, die eine interessante Herkunft mitbringen und in Berlin etwas Neues auf die Beine gestellt haben. Da ist Fadi Abdelnour, der den sch\u00f6nsten Berliner Buchladen Khan al Janub gegr\u00fcndet hat. Da ist\u00a0\u00a0Adham al-Said, der S\u00e4nger der \u00e4gyptischen Band Wust al-Balad, der in Berlin in der Tischtennis Liga f\u00fcr Rollstuhlfahrer spielt und da ist auch – und darauf sind wir stolz\u00a0– das arabische Team von Amal, Berlin!. Weg mit der\u00a0CORONA-Last!<\/h3>\n

Amal berichtet aus den Communities, dar\u00fcber was in der arabisch, afghanisch, iranischen Kulturlandschaft los ist. Wir sind aber auch eine ganz normale Lokalzeitung mit Alltagsthemen. „Brot und Butter“-Journalismus, k\u00f6nnte man sagen. Allerdings – ohne Butter. Das empfiehlt zumindest Amal-Redakteur Ahmad Kalaji, der sich dem Thema widmet, \u00fcber das derzeit besonders viele Menschen (egal welcher Herkunft) nachdenken: Wie werde ich meinen CORONA-Speck wieder los?\u00a0Hier<\/a>\u00a0geht es zu seinem Ratgeber-Text auf Arabisch.<\/p>\n

Die Stimme Afghanistans<\/h3>\n

Vergangene Woche veranstaltet die Organisation Reporter ohne Grenzen eine\u00a0Podiumsdiskussion<\/a>\u00a0zum Thema Medien in Afghanistan. Woche f\u00fcr Woche verschlechtert sich die Situation f\u00fcr Journalist*innen in Afghanistan, doch wir h\u00f6ren immer weniger dar\u00fcber. Das liegt nat\u00fcrlich daran, dass sich die Aufmerksamkeit der Welt\u00f6ffentlichkeit l\u00e4ngst anderen Krisen zugewandt hat, es liegt aber auch daran, dass es immer schwieriger wird, aus Afghanistan zu berichten. Dawod Adil hat mit den vielen prominenten Journalist*innen gesprochen, die bei der Veranstaltung anwesend waren. \nAngst und Hoffnung sind vergleichbar<\/h3>\n
In letzter Zeit werden oft die Ereignisse von 2015 mit denen vom Fr\u00fchjahr 2022 verglichen. Werden die Gefl\u00fcchteten aus der Ukraine herzlicher aufgenommen als die Syrer*innen damals. Wie stehen im Vergleich die afghanischen Neuank\u00f6mmlinge dar? Eine\u00a0Ausstellung<\/a>\u00a0im Museum f\u00fcr Hamburgische Geschichte \u00f6ffnet eine weiter Facette dieser Diskussion: Gezeigt werden da die preisgekr\u00f6nten Bilder des t\u00fcrkischen Fotografen\u00a0Ergun \u00c7a\u011fatay. Er hat Anfang der 1990er Jahre t\u00fcrkische Arbeitsmigrant*innen in Deutschland portr\u00e4tiert.
